Walking Can Reduce Chocolate Cravings

But why would you want to do that?
A recent study has apparently found that walking for just 15 minutes can reduce chocolate cravings. Professor Adrian Taylor, the scientist behind the study said:
“Our ongoing work consistently shows that brief bouts of physical activity reduce cigarette cravings, but this is the first study to link exercise to reduced chocolate cravings.
“This could be good news for people who struggle to manage their cravings for sugary snacks and want to lose weight.”
I can understand that, and admit that exercise does help curb the appetite, but so does a bite of really good dark chocolate, and I’d rather do that than exercise some days!

I think it depends. If I’m walking past a store that sells chocolate… well, it’s not going to help! :D

Hmmmm… I don’t find that my daily walk on the treadmill does anything to curb my cravings. I must be the odd one - or my desire for chocolate really outweighs my efforts to lose weight!

I thought the article was interesting. I think that when I exercise I am less likely to give into one of my chocolate cravings, but no matter where I am if I see something that’s chocolate and it looks yummy I want to eat it!

That chocolate display looks very much like the one in my local grocery - in a village in central Mexico! Chocolate is really big down here. You know the Mayans invited chocolate, right?
Anyway, I’m glad I found this site. I vote with the crowd that walks so they can eat more chocolate!

Dark chocolate isn’t the problem…it’s actually good for us (in moderation of course)….but I guess I can see this would help in cases needing major intervention.
