Qantas Employee Gets the Boot (and the Chocolate)
The usual code of conduct is not to steal from your employer. I thought this was one everyone knew without being told. However, for one employee of Australia’s Qantas Airlines, chocolate covered macadamia nuts were too much to resist. The airline hands out the individually wrapped chocolates to passengers, but this employee was found with them in his bag and in his pockets as his shift ended. One has to wonder if they aren’t going a little too far firing a 32 year employee over a few chocolates.

Oh wow. Maybe I should put back all the life saver mints I keep eating from the candy dish at my work!

Makes you think twice, doesn’t it? I would think that there are far worse things you could be doing than eating a few mints, though.
