National Chocolate Parfait Day

Today, May 1st, is National Chocolate Parfait Day in the US. So in honour of this esteemed holiday, feel free to partake of the following recipe for Chocolate Chip Strawberry Parfait. It is really not so much a recipe as assembly instructions, but is quick and delicious.
Ingredients:
1 four serving package instant pudding, chocolate or vanilla flavour
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup fresh strawberries
Prepare pudding according to package directions. Set out four parfait glasses or deep glass dessert bowls. Layer half of the chocolate chips, half of the pudding, and half of the strawberries. Repeat layers and refrigerate until serving. Raspberries, banana, coconut, or kiwi can be easily substituted for the strawberries.

Hello,Cathy! Haven’t had a parfait in eons, but they are always “comfort food” to me. Such a versatile dessert using any fresh fruit in season.
I thought you might be interested in this chocolate writing (of all things!). I’ve tried calligraphy with ink and the results were less than impressive. So I don’t think chocolate calligraphy would be my forte’. What a grand presentation on a cake, though! More unusual than the piped text.
