Lick This Stamp
Here’s a reason to write more letters. Not emails, but letters of the old-fashioned variety. Both Canada Post and the US Postal Service have come out with postage stamps commemorating chocolate. No word yet on whether they taste like chocolate when you lick them or if they’re that peel and stick variety.
The Canadian stamp isn’t a stamp at all, it is actually a pre-printed envelope that shows a Purdy’s Chocolates assortment box in honour of Purdy’s 100th anniversary. The stamp image is a chocolate wrapped in foil. Just try not to eat the envelope!

The United States Postal Service Love Stamp is also in honour of a 100 year anniversary (1907 was a good year for chocolate!) This stamp shows the Hershey’s Kiss, which was also celebrates its centennial this year.
