Breakfast Cereal Should be Chocolate-Free
Now that may seem like a strange thing for a chocoholic to say. You would think that I would want the taste of chocolate in everything I eat. But that’s just not the case. Take a look at the chocolate cheese post below, and I’m still unsure about chocolate beer.
Now apparently Kellogg’s has announced it is coming out with All-Bran Chocolate. I can’t find anything about this devolopment on the Kellogg’s website, but it was reported in The Malta Independent Online. All-Bran is that incredibly healthy cereal that could use some help to keep it from tasting too much like cardboard. But this is just wrong.
I can still remember when I was a kid I always wanted my parents to buy me Count Chocula cereal. Of course they never would; it is purely junk. So when I moved out on my own I bought a box on my first grocery shopping trip. As soon as I got home I poured myself a big bowl of this chocolately, sugary cereal, topped it off with milk, and prepared for a chocolate taste sensation. Yuck! Chocolate truly has no place in a bowl of cereal. What a disappointment after waiting all those years. Some things were never meant to be chocolafied (made that one up all by myself) and breakfast cereal is one of them.

You know what is delish though is that Reese’s Puffs cereal. I can’t buy it, cause I will eat the whole thing. For the record, I hate chocolate cereal too, but apparently chocolate/peanut butter is not so bad. :)
