A few chocolatey links from around the Food & Dining Channel:
- Jennifer from Offbeat Homes gets high praise from me for finding this incredible chocolate castle from Chocolate Showpiece. It’s not a real castle, of course, but I’m certainly not complaining!

The first time I tried an Aero (bar?), the result of one of my much missed (it’s still too hot) Canadian goodie swaps, I wasn’t quite sure what to think. Normally I like my chocolate nice and solid, and here was a candy bar that was half air. I did end up really liking […]

I really like fieldmuseum.org’s section on chocolate, and especially the Lure and Lore of Chocolate page:
Aztec (1250-1521)
“In their sacred life, the Aztecs occasionally mixed achiote (ah chee OH tay), a red powder made from the seed of the annatto tree, in their chocolate drinks. Some scholars believe this practice may have had a symbolic connection […]

2 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (optional)

Another round of chocolate hunting around the Home & Dining channel! There aren’t a huge amount of chocolate links, but even a little bit of chocolate is better than none!
- Check out Baking Delights‘ Caramel Crunch Fudge Cake. I get a sugar high just looking at the recipe!
